사람의 본성이 이야기를 좋아한다고 하죠?

우리는 어렸을 때부터 다양한 이야기를 듣고 자라는데요.

fairy tales, stories, plays, movies 등이 모두 이야기를 기반으로 합니다. 

Tableau의 사전적 의미는 아래와 같아요.

 - a group of models or motionless figures representing a scene from a story or from history

  (Definitions from Oxford Languages)

Tableau는 group활동으로 명장면을 정지화면으로 표현하는 드라마 기법입니다.

<Tableau 활동 방법>

1. 3~7명 정도로 한 group을 구성합니다.

2. group 내 토의로 Tableau로 표현할 장면을 정합니다.

   (Tableau: 정지 화면, freeze-frame, frozen scene)

3. 장면을 표현하고, 다른 친구들은 어떤 장면인지 알아맞힙니다.

4. group별로 돌아가며 표현합니다.

1. Warm-up(준비)

 - Tableau is a way of creating frozen scenes.

 - You will use your body and expressions.

 - Let's bring stories to life without saying a word!

 - Begin with a quick warm-up.

 - Stretch your arms, legs, and shake off any wiggles.

2. Explain Tableau(활동 설명)

 - Tableau is like creating a living picture.

 - It's a frozen scene that tells a story.

 - You'll use your body, face, and imagination.

3. Choose a Theme & Create a Scene(주제선정, 표현)

 - Pick a theme for your tableau.

 - Now, everyone, in slow motion, start creating the scene.

 - Use your body and facial expressions.

 - No talking! Freeze when I say stop.

4. Observation, Discussion & Guess the Story(관찰, 공유, 예상)

 - Watch each other's tableau.

 - What story do you think is being told?

 - Share your thoughts with the group.

 - Take turns guessing the story behind each tableau.

Tableau 활동을 하다 보면

아이들의 톡 톡 튀는 창의성에 놀라곤 한답니다.

영화의 명장면, 이야기의 클라이맥스를 선정하고,

다 같이 협동하여 만들어내거든요.

또한 비언어적인 표현도 의사소통에 중요하다는 점을 알게 됩니다.
